Some Opportunities

The news doesn't get any better, but I'm tuning out some stories.  Yesterday and today I got quite tired of hearing about the demise of the Seattle PI.  Yes, it is sad that the paper is shutting down, but after about the 20th story, I'd had enough!

Internet connection is down at home, so I've headed down to the church to work a bit.  That works fine, but I spent too much time today on church matters and not applying for a job.

Sunday learned that Big Lots was looking for store managers.  Sent a note to the recruiter...no reply yet, but I'll tweak her on Friday if I haven't heard anything.  It could be spring break where she's at, so vacation could cause a delay.

Also applied for a job grading exams.  Wouldn't necessarily want the day shift for that one....but the evening shift would work out just right I think.  Boring work, but $$ nonetheless!  Interview for this one is Wednesday.
