Small Steps

Well, I snagged a small, short-term position with Pearson scoring standardized tests for schools.  That starts May 11.

Today I sent in my application materials to be a proctor for the WASL for a local group of schools (Washington Virtual Academy).

I think I'll also apply to be an emergency substitute teacher.  It's something and maybe I'll learn that teaching would be a good calling.

Taxes were filed and by this time next week we should have some $$ in the bank with the refund.  Once employment settles down, we need to do a better job with our witholding...
